If you’re new, we want to extend our warmest welcome to you from Town Creek Baptist Church in Aiken, SC! We want your visit with us to be as pleasant as possible. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about us to give you an idea of what Town Creek looks like week to week.
When does Sunday service start?
Sunday Life Groups begin at 9:00 am. Our worship service begins at 10:30 am.
How do I get there?
The TCBC main campus is located on Town Creek Rd near the intersection with Silver Bluff Road. See the map at the bottom of the page for more details.
Our Youth on Wednesday nights and occasional other studies meet at the West Campus which is located on Town Creek Road about 1/2 mile west of the main campus (photo & map).
Where do I go when I get there?
We have ample parking on our campus with reserved spots up front for our guests. Our parking lot greeters will help you find your way to life groups or the worship service. They can also assist if you would like to take advantage of our nursery.
What should I wear?
We are more concerned that we meet your real life needs than with what you wear. When you visit Town Creek, you will see some men in coats and ties and others dressed more casually. You will find women in both dresses and more casual attire. Most of our young people wear the same clothes at church that they wear at school.
What does a typical Sunday look like?
Our typical Sunday service lasts for 90 minutes. We start our service with singing worship songs, a message by our pastors, and more worship songs. Our service is contemporary in style. We average about 300 attendees at the morning worship.
How can I get connected?
If you’re a first time visitor here, please fill out our communication tear-off located in the bulletin. One of our pastors will then contact you to help you get plugged-in at Town Creek. Feel free to introduce yourself to Pastors Clint, John, George, Eddie and Alex (Staff Info). They are always available before and after service.
You can also approach any of our friendly greeters and welcome attendants. They’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
We encourage you to join one of our Life Groups that meet before the worship service. They are a great way to meet people and experience God together. Following the Life Groups, our congregation meets in the Fellowship Cafe for coffee, donuts and fellowship.
We provide nursery care and have children programs for each service. Our Sunday Night program for children is AWANA. In each program, we strive to teach the Word of God to your child and help them to develop a lifelong relationship with Christ.
