Don’t Miss Christmas – How Can I Experience Joy?

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

God promised Jesus was coming
  • Genesis 3:14,15
  • God promised Jesus was coming
  • God made His promise publicly.
  • God made His promise profoundly.
The Prophet Isaiah prophesied specifics about His birth
  • Isaiah 7:14
  • This Baby can change your life because Isaiah said God’s sign would be a Child born to a virgin.
  • This Baby can change your life because Isaiah said The Child would be called Immanuel (God with us).
The Prophet Micah prophesied specifics about where The Child was to be from.
  • Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:1-6; John 1:1; Hebrews 13:8
  • This Baby can change your life because Micah said He would come from Bethlehem Ephrathah.
  • This Baby can change your life because Micah claimed He would be the Ruler in Israel and He was from everlasting.
The Angel Gabriel prophesied to Mary and to Joseph that the Virgin Mary was to give birth to the Savior.
  • Luke 1:26-38; Matthew 1:18-25; Acts 4:8-12
  • This Baby can change your life because one of God’s most powerful angels said Mary was going to give birth to the Savior.
  • This Baby can change your life because He is Jeuss, the Only Name under heaven whereby you can be saved.

God forever split time with Jesus’ coming to earth. God became a man. “The Word became flesh and blood, and moved in the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.” John 1:14

We celebrate Jesus’ birth at Christmas. We celebrate His death, burial and resurrection at Easter. Jesus fulfilled God’s plan.

  • God’s plan was toe send a Savior for sinners like you and me.
  • This Baby can change your life because one of God’s most powerful angels said Mary was going to give birth to the Savior.
  • This Baby, who grew to be a Man, died on the cross to take away your sin and shame. Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus?
