Why Do We Do Recreation?

The goal of the Recreation Ministry at Town Creek is to to build avenues of ministry so that we can reach people where they are and help them take their next steps of faith. We do recreation so we can build relationships with others so we can share the Gospel with them. The ultimate goal is that in everything we do the Gospel is known and believed. We do not do programs, we do ministry together.

“I have become all things to all people that by all means I may save some”1 Corinthians 9:22

Rec League Schedules

Throughout the year, Town Creek participates in various leagues in Aiken and look to host different activities on campus.

Volleyball is currently through Aiken Baptist Association. Games are at Shiloh Baptist Church. This is an area we hope to expand and host volleyball nights/tournaments/leagues on campus.

Basketball is currently through Aiken Baptist Association. Games are at Millbrook on Fridays. Season is January-March.

Softball is through Aiken Baptist Association and is played on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays. The season will run May-July.

Future Vision

We plan to continue to pursue Christ through Recreation Ministry here at Town Creek. Our vision is to create a safe environment to offer exercise and fellowship for churches as we unite with one purpose…to tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ. We are excited for what the Lord has for us in the future and will strive to offer activities that are centered around fellowship with one another, and more importantly, around Jesus. We are looking for different ideas for fellowship. These include paintball, volleyball, softball, archery, soccer, hiking, disc golf, Dodgeball, Running (5k, 10k , etc.), and so much more.

How Can I Get Involved?

Sign up rosters are available in the Welcome Center at Town Creek in the months leading up to each seasonal recreation league.
