Truth 1: Disease is often an illustration in the Bible for sin.
-Sin goes to the deepest part of a person’s heart. Jeremiah 17:9
-Since the beginning, sin continues to spread. James 1:12-16
-Sin contaminates and isolates. The consequences of sin is eternal. Roman 6:23
Truth 2: Healing is the great picture of salvation.
-Healing and salvation come because there is a Great Physician who desires to heal and to save. Mark 2:1-12; 15-17
-We are saved by His grace for His glory. Ephesians 2:8,9
-Healing and salvation are very personal and yet public realities. Luke 19:1-10
