Nadab and Abihu were the wrong people to offer sacrifices. Only the high priest had that responsibility. Exodus 30:7-10
Nadab and Abihu used wrong instruments, their own censers instead of the high priest, sanctified by the special anointing oil.
Nadab and Abihu attempted to sacrifice at the wrong time. The high priest could only offer incense in the Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement. Leviticus 16:1,2
Nadab and Alihu acted under the wrong authority. They did not consult God, Moses or Aaron. They did not follow the Word of God.
Nadab and Abihu used the wrong fire. They used strange fire or unauthorized fire.
Nadab and Abihu acted from the wrong movies. They did their offering from the pride of their heart, not in an effort to bring glory to God.
Nadab and Abihu depended on the wrong influence. The Holy Spirit did not motivate them to do this. It is alluded to in (9,10) that alcohol might have been the other motivating factor.
