God Said, “Be Holy!” (Leviticus 1:1-17)

Truth 1: God invited Moses and His chosen people into a Divine Fellowship with Him.
-God initiated the love relationship with Moses and the people of Israel. God called out to Moses from the Tabernacle (the place of worship).
-Through Moses, God told the people how to worship Him.

Truth 2: God invited people to enter a Divine Fellowship with Him.
-God told Moses the specific way He and the people were to worship Him. God’s way was the only acceptable way.
-God allowed the people to encounter worship through their free will offerings.

Truth 3: God’s invitation for the people of Israel was a shadow of our Divine Invitation to have eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
-The death of an animal and it’s blood atoned for the sinners sin temporarily.
-The death of Jesus and the shedding of His blood provided for the eternal forgiveness for the sinner. We must accept his offering or reject it. The choice and consequences are ours.

Now to the King, eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17
