Identifying and Responding to Spiritual Threats (Jude 12-16)
Truth #1 – The enemy of your faith is real and has instructions from His master to cause you confusion and death. (v 12-13)
-The enemy seeks to cause destruction of your emotions, your will and your mind. Matthew 7:15-20
-God has reserved the blackness of darkness forever for His enemies. Revelation 20:11-15
Truth #2 – Since the beginning, God has reigned supreme. He provides for His own. (v 14,15a)
-You can be comforted knowing God was victorious in the past, is vctorious in the present and will be victorious in the future. Matthew 28:18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58
Truth #3 – Keep the faith. Stay alert. Weight the evidence (v 15b,16)
-Jude warns us that the enemy are ungodly sinners who work their way in the Church.
-Be wise, live godly lives. Recognize and oppose the ungodly with a spirit of love.
