Would the Real Christian Please Stand Up?
Romans 7:1-25 – Limits of the Law

1. The Law and the Faithful Follower (Spiritual Man)
(v1-4) Salvation through Christ breaks the bondage of the law for the believer. Christians have the victory!
(v5-6) Faithful followers of Christ do not have to fear the passions of sin because they are delivered from sin. 2 Corinthians 5:17

2. The Law and the Unbeliever (Natural Man)
(v7-11) Evil desires are exposed and depressed because the law condemns. Sin brings death. Romans 6:23
(v12-13) The law is holy, the sinner is doomed by it.

3. The Law and the Doubting Follower (Carnal Man)
(v14-21) Every true believer has an inward struggle with their two natures. They are given the old Adamic nature when they are born and are given the new nature of God when they are born again.
(v22-25) Spiritual warfare is real. The Carnal Christian is defeated without exceeding full faith in Jesus Christ who is our Great Deliverer! Run to Him!
