Romans 1 – Paul’s Christian Credentials – The Call is Real
Truth #1 – Paul was a real, faithful bondservant.
(v. 1a) He was God’s slave. He fully submitted to God his whole life.
Acts 28:28; 2 Timothy 3:4
Truth #2 – Paul was a real, faithful apostle.
(v. 1b) The word apostle means “one who is sent by authority with a commission.” There were Biblical qualifications for an Apostle of King Jesus.
1 Corinthians 9:1,2
Truth #3 – Paul was a real, faithful preacher.
(v. 1b-4) Paul preached the Gospel of Jesus according to the Word of God with authority!
Acts 28:28-31;
Truth #4 – Paul was a real, faithful missionary to the nations.
(v. 5-7) Paul was obedient to carry the message of salvation through Christ alone to the Gentiles?
