God is light, and so is His Son. 1 John 1:5; John 8:12
Jesus came to the earth to display His light. John 1:1-13
Jesus explained His light penetrates spiritual darkness. Luke 11:33-36
Disciples of Jesus have His light in them and they must influence the world around them. It is God’s plan that believers shine forth His light.
Jesus caused His light to be radiated through His faithful, obedient disciples.
The light of Jesus in His disciples is radiant and obvious.
Disciples of Jesus shine their light into a spiritually darkened world.
True “Christ light” cannot and will not be hidden.
Jesus’ light has a guiding purpose. His light is a beacon, warning all led by sin to turn to Christ.
Jesus’ light leads others through darkness.
The world is looking. Faithful disciples of Jesus are eager to let their light shine so that all may see it and bring glory to God the Father.
Do you have the light of God within you?
Have you asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and come into your life?
Are you daily letting your light shine for Christ?
