Truth 1: Christ followers thank God because Jesus is sufficient. The law was sufficient.
(v 1,2) The law shadowed the coming of Jesus, the Savior of the world. The law could not and cannot save.
(v 3,4) THe law offered temporary covering of sins.
Truth 2: Christ followers thank God because He offered the permanent plan of salvation.
(v 5-7) Jesus fulfilled GOd’s will. Salvation through the blood of Jesus was and is the plan of God.
John 4:34; 5:30; 6:38; 17:4
(v 8-10) Christ Jesus abolished the Old Covenant sacrificial system forever.
Truth 3: Christ followers thank God because Jesus paid it all.
(v 11-13) Jesus is alive and well, seated at the right hand of the Father. Psalm 110:1
(v 14-18) Jesus sealed the New Covenant with His blood. We Christians have everlasting life with our God, Creator, Savior, Redeemer and Friend. Romans 8:31-39
