1 Thessalonians 3:11-13; 4:1-12
Truth #1 – Christians must regularly pray for the Church of God. There is a battle raging.
-Only God can establish a Christian’s heart in love. Prayer is the fuel for the engine of faith. Ephesians 6:10-20
-God expects Christians to walk holy in a sinful culture. There is no other options, there is no plan B.
Truth #2 – Christians must religiously practice holy living.
-Only God can spiritually mature a Believer in their faith. Holy living is taught by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scriptures. 1 Peter 1:13-21
-God expects Christians to work out their faith and live a holy life. The Holy Spirit will guide your mind, your will and your emotions when you fully surrender to Him. You must share Jesus with others. Philippians 2:12-18
Truth #3 – Christians must reverently produce brotherly love.
-Only God can teach Christians how to love. Christian love for one another is God’s way of living. John 13:34,35
-God expects Christians to mature in faith and be His Ambassadors to a watching world. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
